BOKKA - undoubtedly the most unusual project on the Polish music scene. A debut of 2013 consisting of mysterious well-known, Polish artists, concealing their faces behind the cosmic masks.

The only known facts are that it’s a fivesome of the award-winning artists, that they’re undisclosed to draw people’s attention to their music, not their past, and that they are signed to the most hailed Polish music label - NEXTPOP.

This romantic idea of a mystery, combined with a strong word of mouth among the fans of Nextpop and the support by a new audience, turned out to be a tremendous success in Poland.

Great reviews in local and foreign media (including the key tastemaker Pitchfork), sold-out first time ever tour around Poland at venues 800+ or invitations to big festivals like Open’er (PL), The Great Escape (UK), Reeperbahn Festival (DE) just after releasing the debut album were quite unusual considering that BOKKA was a brand new act.

The first BOKKA’s hit single “Town Of Strangers” was mastered by Mandy Parnell, a mastering engineer behind Björk, Sigur Rós, Depeche Mode or Paul McCartney. The accompanying music video has now OVER 3 million views on YouTube.

Their performances are known for the visuals, lights, costumes and music that complete each other to create a unique experience for the audience.

Recently BOKKA performed at e.g. Colours of Ostrava (CZ), Positivus Festival (LV), ancienne belgique (brussels), Waves Bratislava, Palace akropolis (prague) and A38 in budapest.

They released their second album „Don’t Kiss And Tell” in October 2015.
